Biography
Mickael discovered photography through his grandfather's darkroom, a place where light and chemistry turned moments into permanence. By twelve, he was developing his own prints. Life took him elsewhere for years, but at twenty-four, the camera called him back.
His work emerges from two obsessions: how we move through nature, and how we connect with each other. He chases the intersection of pleasure, vision, and technical mastery, the satisfaction of knowing exactly what the camera will do before the shutter closes.
His influences range from painter Alexandre Calame's approach to landscape, to photographers like Joakim Eskildsen and Kit Young, artists who understand that technique serves truth.
Today, Mickael works across formats: digital and drones when the moment demands speed, but increasingly with analog, 35mm, 6x7, and 4x5 large-format. Each system teaches him something different.
His work is available as fine-art prints, worldwide.
